Follower of Christ, happily married, blessed with lots of kids and grandkids. 30+ years of experience in residential construction and management both in Abingdon, VA and Charleston, SC.

 When he's not pastoring our church, he manages the business.

Christian, husband, father of 8, leader in Murphy Brothers. 

15+ years of experience in Construction, specializing in interior renovations and remodels.

Usually managing projects, doing estimates, helping the company operate effectively, and running handyman jobs as needed.

In his free time, he enjoys improving his house, taking dominion of his property with his family, and enjoying the good life God gives.

Fifth born in the Murphy family, married with four kids, 

Over 10 years of construction experience, and leads a crew for the company, specializing in New construction, larger renovations and decks and porches.

Also currently studying for a B.A. in Bible at Whitfield College, hoping to work in the ministry in the future.

Nik has four years experience in residential construction and renovation, specializing in electrical, finish carpentry, tiling, cabinetry, and general finish work, along with drafting and design.

He has an Associates Degree in electrical technology from Virginia Highlands Community College. 

In his spare time he practices martial arts and designs/scratch-builds models of houses, among other interests. 

With 10 years of electrical experience, an active master electrician's license,  associates in electrical technology, and the tools to boot, Viktor is a well established resident electrician.  

Viktor is also skilled in many aspects of construction, making him a valuable addition to any project, especially when some extra heft is required.

Strong as an ox and twice as handsome!

Five years' experience, occasional project managing, also has experience with mechanics and restores classic trucks as a hobby. 

He's married, with a little on the way. He runs a separate crew often, helping lead the guys to completing more quality projects.

Jackson is often nominated as the crawl space specialist because the others don’t fit! 

32 years old, married, with 5 children. 

Five years of experience in construction, of which two years with the Murphy Bros. And I am happy, good coworkers. 

Gabriel Murphy has worked for Murphy brothers for five years. 

Specializes in painting, plumbing, roof’s and bringing glory to God in his work. 

Training to become a foreman and crew lead.

Charlie is great on equipment, drives a big truck and enjoys working outdoors.

He's married, and recently moved back up from Louisiana.

Timothy has been working part-time for Murphy Brothers for a couple years and is learning the trade, specializing in tile, and drywall finishing, also good at most detailed, finish work.

When off work he does school, he enjoys creating stop motion animation, football, and solving Rubik’s cubes.

Samuel has been working part-time with Murphy Brothers since 2023.

He enjoys large scale projects, like framing and roofing, and he wants to lean more in this trade. 

He also specializes in masonry.

Jude has been working part time with Murphy Brothers for the past few years, he likes drywalling, framing, and concrete. Also metal working/welding, and mechanics.

You’ll often find him driving his truck, hanging out with friends and family, doing chores, being outside, starting fires (definitely safe), or doing school.

Judah claims to be way cooler than the rest of these guys, by at least 7 parsecs.

Pursuing a career as an electrician, and learning general construction at the same time.

For the last few years, Josiah's been doing construction with his friends and brothers. He mostly carries and cleans things, and helps move vehicles when they get stuck (by hand.)

As of mid June 2024, He's been working once a week, so long as they don't squeeze him into a crawl space or tight attic.
